We're delighted to be hosting this months Women's Multicultural Lunch as part of our partnership with Victory Community Centre. These lunches are a wonderful opportunity to come together, meet new people, share stories, and celebrate the diversity of our community.
There will be hot soup & a warm fire or sit out side and enjoy the sunshine in the garden (weather permitting)

26 MARCH 26 - Visit by Her Excellency Rt Hon Dame Cindy Kiro
We were honoured to have the Governor General visit the Centre. It was a very special occasion and so lovely to connect, share stories, and have our mahi acknowledged, while also
celebrating the milestone of being reopened for just over a year.

11 MARCH 26 - Womens Multicultural Lunch - Hosted at NWC
This year we are partnering with Victory Community Centre to host the Womens Multicultural Lunch. We hosted the first one of year and will be having it at the Centre in May, July, Sept & November this year
Whakatu Women's Refuge QUIZ NIGHT 26 March 2026
We supported our sisters from the Nelson Women's Refuge who organised an amazing quiz to raise funds for their mahi.
We managed to win this Quiz with an awesome team of wahine and our one male who helped out with the sports section.
Thanks for a great night for a good cause!

The laughter, connection, and open sharing made it an evening to remember. We were absolutely delighted by the turnout and the incredible energy in the room. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and the amazing support of our sponsors, we raised over $10,000! 🙌
These funds will directly support the Nelson Women’s Centre and help us continue to provide vital services for women and non-binary people in our community.
